Bigfoot Gifting
My latest work is a continuation of my primal series. I have always had a fascination with Bigfoot, not just in the phenomenon but in the people who step forward to give their stories of encounters. In this work, Bigfoot casually strolls across the landscape paying caution to every noise and smell.
As a curious observer, Bigfoot ventures out from the woodland beyond the blanket of mist rising from the water to leave gifts for those who believe. A pine cone, a feather, maybe there’s even a rock somewhere. The Bigfoot phenomenon is world wide, whether it’s Sasquatch, The Yeti, The Yowi, a Skunk Ape in the swamps of Florida, or any of the other names we give it, the appeal of a mythical wild man holds as strong today as it ever did. Whether you are a believer or not, myth or fact, the absence of evidence is not necessarily the evidence of absence.
