Cathedral of the Quarter

The eighties were awash with amusement arcades, inserting a quarter to test your skill and watching in wonder as the cool kids beat every high score. When the quarters ran dry we would go home and play on the family computer, games that promised to be just like the arcade bore often little more than only a passing resemblance, but not when our imaginations filled in the blanks!

Cathedral of the Quarter joins my retro revival collection to celebrate the dawn of home computers, in an age when there were only a handful of TV stations and a testcard on the screen of the home TV.
