The hills of Cornwall are ahead, their feet dipping into an unscratched sea. Calm waters at dusk and a stillness unbroken on a warm summer evening in a tiny town called Looe. Looking out across the mirror like water, not yet fully dark, the odd ripple of fish reminds me that it’s not made of glass.

If you are familiar with Looe you will know where this is, for those who don’t, this is a view typical of the old towns and villages away from the tourist crowds.
