Description
Ark of Hope is M.A Taylor's first major work of 2017. You cannot be friends upon any other terms than upon the terms of equality said Woodrow Wilson, and this stunning work depicts friendships formed through having to put differences aside and coming together just as the animals did on entering the Ark.
Noah's Ark is the vessel in the Genesis flood narrative (Genesis chapters 6–9) by which God spares Noah, his family, and a remnant of all the world's animals from the flood. According to Genesis, God gave Noah instructions for building the ark. Seven days before the deluge, God told Noah to enter the ark with his household and the animals. The story goes on to describe the ark being afloat for 150 days and then coming to rest on the Mountains of Ararat and the subsequent receding of the waters.
Ark of Hope was created over a period of some six months and was influenced by pen and ink drawings of the artists from several ancient cultures who used ink in their fine art drawings. The medium was developed further during the era of the Tang Dynasty in Chinese art between 618 and 906, and the Song Dynasty arts (960-1279), and thereafter in Japan during the Muromachi period (1338-1573).
Mark has recreated the effect digitally and has created both a more traditional black and white work and the same piece using colour.
Both of these fabulous pieces are available now and come complete with a 30-day money back guarantee. Other products are also available when viewing Mark's Pixels site at http://10-Mark-Taylor.pixels.com including greetings cards, duvets, cushions, phone cases, and many more mediums.
